Welcome to the only still regularly updated site dedicated to Chaney Kley. ChaneyKley.Net is dedicated to honoring the life and works of the wonderful man that graced this world for too short a time. Here you will find the most comprehensive collection of information about Chaney on the net, and the photo gallery is still growing. Please contact me with any questions, or if you want to help!
Sadly, Chaney passed from this life on July 24, 2007, but his memory will live on as long as we remember him. ChaneyKley.Net will always remember Chaney, and the life he lived. He was loved by all who knew him, and he will never be forgotten. The current layout features Chaney's last movie, Mr. Blue Sky. This was a project very close to Chaney's heart, and I know he was very proud of this project.
Revisiting an old graphic I made back in 2007 in honor of Christmas!! I know I still like it, though, and I hope you all do, too. :D

Something new and wonderful to report on the outstanding movie Mr. Blue Sky! I received this email from Tom last night. Chaney would be so proud of everything this movie is accomplishing.
Mr. Blue Sky is officially accepted by the United Nations as an instrument of peace as it wil be shown, among elsewhere, every December 3 (international Day of Persons with Disabilities) at the UN conference. .....pretty cool.........much more positive news is coming

Hey all you Facebookers out there, be sure to stop by and join the FB group dedicated to Chaney and his memory. Thanks again to everybody for the support of Chaney and this website. It's very much appreciated. It's so hard to believe sometimes that it's only been two years since Chaney passed. Sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago, other times like it was yesterday.
My heart goes out to everyone who knew Chaney and who lost a friend and a brother. ChaneyKley.Net will always be here to remember Chaney and will continue to do everything possible to remind the world of what a great man he was. God bless to everyone who continues to support the site, and to everyone who may find this site in the future.
Happy July Everbody! I received an email yesterday from Julie Sands, the incredibly talented actress that worked with Chaney on Stephen King's Gotham Cafe as both a co-star and as one of the producers and writers of the screenplay. She has given me permission to post her words about Chaney here. Thank you again, Julie. I was glad to hear from you.
It came to my attention through your site that Chaney's last film, Mr. Blue Sky, is helping to improve the lives of many children with Down's Syndrome. I am very happy to hear that lives will be changed because of this man's contribution to that work.
I was privileged to cast and work with Chaney on my short film Stephen King's Gotham Cafe. The lead role of Steve Davis was demanding and challenging, emotionally as well as physically. I couldn't have found anyone better for the role. Chaney's performance was award winning. His dedication to the work as well as to his fellow filmmakers and actor's was unwavering.
Chaney and I had planned on working together in the future on some film projects and I like the rest of us was shocked that his life was so short on this earth. He was a joy to work with, he brought something magical to the screen that was his alone.
He will be missed by many.

I got this email from Tom Lee yesterday. Looks like the message of Mr Blue Sky is still making headlines and changing lives. Chaney would be so proud.
Hello to everybody
Okay this is news I have to relate since it is priceless....
I got a call form the Government of US wanting a copy of Mr. Blue Sky to send over to
the Goverment of Serbia in order to change their living conditions for people living with Down syndrome. So the Exeutive Director of Disabilities ( I think his name is Kareem Dale)
under President Obama is traveling to Serbia on June 10 and is bringing Mr. Blue Sky to their government officials to see....pretty amazing stuff
Apparantly, in Serbia, as I'm told, they place children born with Down syndrome in Institutions under horrible living conditions and life expectatncy is under 10 years old.
So our Government is looking to change their ways and using Mr. Blue Sky as a positive tool of education...can't beat that!!!!!!
I got to feel our brother CHANEY is overlooking this!
Wow! What an absolutely awesome affirmation of the movie, and the heart and soul that was put into it! This is truly a great thing led by God. And it couldn't have come at a better time - for me, anyway. ChaneyKley.Net will officially be celebrating SIX years on the world wide web in just under ten days!! This is a perfect birthday present for the site, and an even more perfect testiment to our dear Chaney. He is truly missed, but his legacy lives on.
March 27, 2009
I could have sworn that I'd searched for this before and never saw it, but it's been around a long time. Anyway, I found on YouTube today the official trailer for the independent film Stephen King's Gotham Cafe. Being what it was, the film is not available for purchase of any kind that I know of. I'll let everybody know if I ever hear otherwise about it.
Of course, the quality is not 100%, but it's good enough. Chaney looked great, naturally!
Here also is the trailer for Mr. Blue Sky, Chaney's last (and I believe his favorite) project. The trailer speaks for itself about what an amazing movie this is. Thanks again goes to Tom Lee for telling the story.
This movie is available for purchase in select Blockbuster stores (check your local store for availability) and online at the official website for the movie, found HERE.
March 26, 2009
A new banner and bit of a color scheme change to liven things up a bit. I know there hasn't been much done around here lately. I'm hoping to have some more Mr. Blue Sky screen caps before too long. I'm also trying to get the various tv shows that Chaney was on so I can get caps from those, as well.
*** Please note - some of the archives were lost during a computer problem ***
May 7, 2008
Well Gang -- it's May already, and that means an anniversary is coming soon. ChaneyKley.Net will officially be 5 years old on May 30th! That's a pretty big deal for me! I've worked hard on this website through the years and I've been so proud of it. I'm very glad to see it reach this special birthday.
In honor of that birthday, I'm going to give the site a makeover very soon. I'll be getting my own copy of the official Mr. Blue Sky DVD in the mail any day now, and the site will get some new screencaps, a new main banner, and a few other face-lifts here and there. I hope you all continue to come by the site and check out the new additions coming soon.
If anyone has anything they'd like to contribute to the site - pics, personal stories - anything - please email me.
My heartfelt thanks go out to all of you who continue to visit the site. I know Chaney would have appreciated everybody's support. So thanks to everyone. God bless.

It is with a very heavy heart that I post this message tonight. It has been confirmed to me by Tom Lee that Chaney did in fact pass away on Monday, July 23.
I do not have any information as to the cause. All I know is that he was in his LA apartment.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and most of all, his fiance, Melodie. He will never be forgotten.

August 17, 2007
If you haven't had the chance to go by the official site of Mr. Blue Sky and see the trailer, you MUST go! This is truly one of Chaney's greatest works, if not the best. The story is wonderfully written, and one of the most touching movies I've seen in a very, very long time.
Be sure to read the email excerpt from Kelly Reed above. Katelyn Reed is the beautiful angel that played little Corey - the Sixth Soul Mate. <3
August 12, 2007
I have added a few screen caps of the trailer to Mr. Blue Sky to the photo gallery. Thanks again go to Tom Lee.
I received a message from Mr. Tom Lee, asking me to post a message about one of his personal experiences with Chaney.
Thank you so much, Tom, for allowing those of us who never met Chaney this rare look into the man he was.
(The message from Tom is the one that appears above.)

First off, let me please apologize for the lack of updates the last couple of months. I'm afraid real life came in and threw me for a loop, causing some much undesired down time when it came to this site. I really do hope to do better in the future, and update at least once a month - even if there's really nothing new to report. Thank you to all of Chaney's fans for being supportive of both me and Chaney. We appreciate it so much!
New layout! I hope you like it. Thanks go to Ashley for the blend used at the top. Mucho love to her!
There will be some more Darkness Falls screen caps coming very soon. Keep checking back.
We have a new Site Of The Month. I'm putting it up now, but it will be up through the month of the February. Please visit Wentworth Miller.Us. They are also our newest affiliate!

September 12, 2006
I found a really interesting article about Ashley Wolfe, Chaney's co-star in his most recent project, "Mr. Blue Sky". It's a few years old, but it's got a lot about the young actress and her life. Read about her here.
There's also a new website called DSIAM, Down Syndrome In Arts and Media. It has a lot of great information about some very talented actors and actresses, and a synopsis of the movie "Mr. Blue Sky". Check it out here.
September 11, 2006
New screencaps from a couple of Chaney's appearance's on FX's The Shield are ready to veiw in the Photo Gallery. There are 20 from "String Theory" and 13 from the season 4 finale, "Ain't That A Shame".
September 2, 2006
There's a new Site Of The Month for September. Prison Break is a great show on television's Fox channel. Devoted to Prison Break is the ultimate fan site for the show. There is more information than any other site I've seen, a very extensive photo gallery, message forum, and more!
I've added a couple of pictures of Chaney and Emma Caufield at the premier of Darkness Falls. The pics are property of Wire Image and the watermark is still intact on the pictures, but Chaney looks so great! See them at the Photo Gallery.
**After a recent computer crash, all the screen caps I still had to add to the photo gallery were lost. I'm finally able to start getting those back, and hope to have some more screen caps from both Darkness Falls and The Shield put up by the end of the weekend. Keep checking back for updates.
June 13, 2006
Wow -- has it really be a month since I updated last?? I guess it has! But don't worry. There are some updates coming very soon. A new layout is in the works, and some new screen caps will be here shortly, including Chaney's guest starring role on NCIS (from season 1 now available on DVD). A new site of the month will be announced soon for the month of July, and Chaney's birthday is coming up in August. The Happy Birthday forum will soon be up and ready for you to share your birthday wishes!!

I am so excited!! About six months ago or so, I wrote a letter to Chaney and sent it to his agent. The two full pictures can be found in the gallery, but for now, here's a sneak peak at Chaney's signature!
April 2, 2006
First of all - thank you all for being so patient with me! A lot has happened in the last few months, but everything should be back on track now. For now there's just a small update to the photo gallery, but I hope to have more soon.
Added 10 new Darkness Falls screencaps to the Gallery.
There isn't going to be an April Site of the Month since I didn't get my act together in time! So Jen-Garner.Net will remain as SOTM for April and there will be a new one in May.
March 3, 2006
My sincerest apologies for the lack of updates! Too much drama in real life! I promise updates very soon.

Chaney made a special guest appearance tonight on CBS's CSI:Crime Scene Investigation! He played the character Brent Martin. Brent's best friend is someone who has a rather strange affliction - a disease called Congenital Hypertrichosis, causing him to grow excessive body hair. He's referred to in the show as the human werewolf. Brent has no problem with his friend's condition - until his friend becomes engaged to Brent's sister. How will Brent handle the news?
In case anyone hasn't seen it yet, I won't go any further, but you can check out the filmography page for a full episode description.

They actually share a scene, but don't directly interact. Cullen guest stars as Dr. Lesser, head of Mission Cross' ER, while Chaney appears in his recurring role as police officer Asher.
